PERSPECTIVES!!!

Share:
There is a popular quote from William Shakespeare that there is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so. As a thinker, I have always failed in differentiating the good and the bad. This post is just one more attempt in knowing the difference!

A tiger runs behind a pray to fulfill hunger. In the perspective of the pray, the hungry tiger looks like a deemon. For the tiger, if it fails to catch the pray- it may die due starvation, as the pray runs faster, death reaches near and in the perspective of the tiger that pray seems to be bad as it is running. Who is bad? May be the hunger of the tiger which is not letting both of the animals to live peacefully? Or it might be the food cycle that made tiger as carnivorous ??

Why do the writer of Ramayana portrayed Ravana as a villain?
Is it wrong to have immense love towards her sister?? Why can't Lakshmana be treated as a villain?? Shurpanaki had a bad intention. But was it fair to cut her nose? Why can't he be punished?? In my opinion Ravana was a gentleman, he never misbehaved with sita. When Rama wanted to wage war against Ravana, he wanted to know the best time(muhurtha) to attack, that would lead him to victory. He wanted to consult a brahmin!! Ravana being a brahmin and being an opponent at the same time, let rama to know the best time(muhurta) and wished for Rama's victory against himself!!! Is it not what gentleman do??? Why the hell we compare cruality to Ravana? Is it not what we call a matter of perspective???

In Mahabharata, Arjuna and his brothers humiliated Ekalavya and imposed his guru to take Ekalavya's finger, just because he belonged to a lower caste!! Was it the work of DHARMA?? Will DHARMA promote castism and untouchability.. Why can't Arjuna be punished for prompting untouchability. Why can't he be treated as a villain and inhuman? Or may be writer might have protrayed Arjuna as a hero in his perception?? Was it good to write VIKRAMARJUNA VIJAYA  portraying Arjuna as a hero?

Dhuryodana let karna(known to be the son of Fisher man before) in to his palace, ignoring his background. He made karna a king!! Is it not what good people do?? Pandavas never loved backward class people. They say, kurukshrtra was fought for DHARMA'S. VICTORY! Did DHARMA preached Arjuna to humiliate Ekalavya. Did dharma preached pandavas to marry a single women?? Can we accept it as the act of DHARMA?? I call this too as a matter of perspective! They were neither good nor bad but were potrayed!!

The good and the bad doesn't exist in reality. They are all the matter of perspective. Killing a sheep is not but killing tiger is considered to be punishable offence. They both have life and they both are made of meat and bones! Yes, its perspective! There is no absolute good or bad thing. Good and bad exists in our thoughts!!!! Its purely a matter of perspective!!!
