Nothing is ours, Be thankful!

Today, in the noon my mother called me to lunch. My father was already having his lunch. I saw some curry made of bitter melon(hagalkayi) in his plate. I said to mom not to serve that bitter curry to me. In return, she requested me to eat as it is good for health. I asked the source for that information. She said "my mom told me that its good for health." But I wanted the starting source. I asked my mom, the 1st man on earth, as soon as he taste this bitter melon, will he try it again? Who started to use this first and who got to know that its good for health for the 1st time?? My mom was shocked to hear my words. She had no answers. I was bit logical too! Who would try it for the second time!! Hearing these conversation, my father was smiling. That was a wise smile!
He said" Illi yavdu namdalla. Nav mathado bhashenu nav kand hid'dilla. Jorag male bandaga marad kelage ninthkobardu antha namge gottagoke, munchene alli yaro sidlu bad'du satthirbeku. Namge Ella tilsi kodoke eshto Janara jeeva ne hogbitide!!" His words are always wise!!

We own nothing here! We have to be thankfull for our elders. Yes they have started from zero and have even wasted their life experimenting. The results of those experiments are the reason for our smooth life! Just think once, what if we had no languages to write. I wouldn't have written this, you wouldn't be reading this. Someone in the past have contributed in one or the otherway for us. They have wasted their entire life time to learn things. We are living on their experiences. Yes, nothing is our's here. We relay on someone else's work and so we have to be thankful!!!
