Four and a half years before.....
I was reading the novel 'Half girlfriend' . I was in a romantic mood. I was happy that Madhav ja got Riya to his hostel room😂😂 and was sad because I had no girl friend to write a romantic love story! Damn, I wasn't cool, I wasn't good looking, not that smart to get hold of a chik!! God, I really had a bad college life! Suddenly, phone vibrated. I got a whatsapp notification. It was Siddarth. My classmate. The message said "Bro, I'm depressed, we will go for a SITTING tonight!" You might know what sitting is! Its just an abstract keyword given by college students to have drinks!
He called me at 7
Sid- "loo, I'm on the way. Come out of your home"
I came out and waited for 10mins. He came with the black color activa. We always prefer gear less when we want to go out as it has place below the seat to keep the bottles.
He moved back and let me to ride the bike.
We used to go to the outskirts of the town, around 4+km from my home. I was riding slowly. I could sense that he was in a sad mood. The hot air blown out of his nose was hitting my back. I could feel his tensed feeling from his hot breath. On the way, he didn't even uttered a word! I stopped at a regular bar. He told me that the Mall was already bought! Again, I started riding towards the outskirts of the town.
I never used beer in my life. I was a professional!😂😂. I took the whisky bottle. There were 3 full 1L bottles of BP. I was shocked to see that and I felt anger too. I asked him politely, "Raja isht maal thandidyalla, nim appange call madu ella admele bandu pic madoke!" He didn't even replayed for my words.
I took a bottle, he ordered me not to drink! I questioned him. In reply, he said that he wants to tell me a story. So he wants me to be conscious and alert during the whole conversation! His seriousness towards the conversation made me to accept his request. He started his 1st round. He too was a professional, and I knew he could resist upto 1 and a half. But three! That made me to think. I knew I couldn't control him if he drinks too much! I was a bit worried. Looking at my worried face, he himself told that, he will not drink the whole three. He will drink as less as possible, untill his story completes.
Before his story, let me tell you the details. Sid and I were classmates from last one and a half year. We started watching porn together, we started drinking and smoking together. We did every possible harkats together! And once we even visited red light areas too! We were in second year. Despite of having all these experiences, we were good at academics too. Sid topped in college exams, I was my department topper. We had good marks in hands and good opinions in the views of professors. Other classmates had no idea what we were! But we were the most wanted chit!y@$$. We knew each other very well.
We were at the midst of the second pu. There were lots of colorful girls in our college. But we showed no interest towards them. They used to TRY for us! But we never allowed any girl. Sid and I never responded to the hi hellos from the girls, not even for the smile! If someone(girl) try to talk to any one of us, we used to be very rude at them.
One day we were sitting in the class. Electronics dept HOD called me and informed me about the technical exhibition that was planned for that year. They had planned for a very big event for tech expo. He gave me the responsibility to plan for project presentation for the expo. We had almost 32 tables, each table having one project based on the latest technology and I was the lead planner of the expo.
I was happy, I came back to the class and sid wasn't there. The guy who was beside him told me that he was called by principal. Few minutes later he came and I got to know that he was made as the president for the science expo. I was fucking burnt internally but was smiling outside.
For the science expo, we had to work for the whole day till 8pm. Vice president of the event was a girl by name Chaithra who was blood relation to the principal. President and wise president both had a seat in physics laboratory. They used to update the daily reports including status of each project and the money spent. They too worked for almost 7 to 8pm. I had took most of the designing part. I (think) had lot more work that the president.
There was just two days left for the expo! We are out for a drink as Sid was unhappy. He had already started to drink. Suddenly he started crying. I thought its common to feel over emotional while drinking.
Sid -"Dude, Do you know the vice president?"
Me -" yeah, have seen her with you in the cabin"
Sid started telling his story.
" She will be sitting right next to me all day. She is a dumb, and always asks silly questions regarding the report updates and as usual I feel angry and nervous to talk to her. One day it was 6.30pm. I was updating the report submitted by chemistry volunteer. That day, She looked like an angel in her green salwar kameez...." he was about to continue but I started laughing at him for his explanation towards a girl. I said " Dude, this is not our track. You are drunk, come out of this crap mann!"
But he was crisp in his voice. Three rounds of whisky didn't had any impact on his behavior. He was straight and his eyes were in control! He said" Just listen to the story bro, this is not what I'm creating, this is what happened that day!"
I said " ok, Go on.."
He started again
"Where was I... Yeah, in her green salwar, she was looking too pretty that day. The whitey chin, the sharp eye brows, straight parlor-ed hairs, hotty lips and those pair of slippers... started disturbing me!!
I looked in to her eyes. We made eye contacts but I couldn't keep it for more than two seconds. It happened 5plus times. Each time I was the one who failed!!. Finally I made a bold move, I looked into her eyes, her eyes were sparkling like a star. Oh my god, She was fucking beautiful( the word fuck made me to realize that the whisky started working!). She started a conversation.
She - "Why are you staring at me!"
Me- "Nothing like that"
She- "No, I can feel some changes in you and see your are replying politely."
Me- having no control over the tongue "You are looking absolutely stunning today!!"
Then there was a lot of silence.. And finally she broke the silence saying "I like you Siddarth"
The day ended. We got our numbers exchanged. We started cellphone conversation , sms were common. She even told me on phone that she had a crush on me... We were almost one line away from getting committed.
Today, we had lots of work. But was happy that it was saturday(half day, upto 5pm). I was quite disturbed by her appearance and couldn't concentrate on my work. With the white T-shirt and black jeans, she was looking too elegant and sexy. As the T-shirt was transperent, the inner wear was visible. I was loosing my mind constantly. It was 2.30. Everyone started leaving the college. But the volunteers including president, vicepresident and heads have to stay their and continue with the work till 5pm.
I took a 5mins break and went out for the restroom. When I came back, she was sitting on my chair with a gift box. It was fastrack watch priced 4,590 in flipkart. She proposed me handing over the gift to me. She came closer and huged me. I supported her by enclosing my hands. I couldn't resist, she looked even cuter in closeup. We let our hands off. I got one step closer towards her and I kissed her cheek. She didn't apposed my actions. I kissed her lips. I took her in my arm. Our height couldn't match. I made her to sit on the table, I locked her lip for more than 6 seconds. That was the longest kiss I ever had!! Suddenly a phone rang inside the lab. We both had kept our cellphone in our pocket. We didnt bothered about the cellphone. The romance carried for few more minutes. The door sound stopped us!! The lab attender saw everything..... He was there to take back his phone. Fuck man.. He saw me while I was kissing a girl inside the lab and that girl was relation to the principal. God who will save me now.." He stopped his story and cried again.. I took him back. I dropped him to his home and I slept in his home that night.
Slowly faculties got to know about the physics lab romance. As it was not sid's mistake alone, no one talked about this issue. Just after a weak, she was forcibly transferred to the other branch of my institution.
After four and a half years
Today I met him and asked him about her. His face turned sad hearing her name. He was feeling guilt for the things that happened.. He badly wanted her back! I could see a deep sadness in his eyes.
